Stuart Poole-Robb - Professional Summary:
With a reputation as a white-collar problem solver, the Merchant International Group ("MIG") headed by its CEO Stuart Poole-Robb tackled all manner of risks and threats facing businesses for over 20 years. MIG also earned to its credit 2, risk analysis awards consecutively won with bespoke products and services.
During his time with MIG, Stuart Poole-Robb co wrote with Alan Bailey, the acclaimed book "Risky Business" (published in 2002), which ran a series of case studies that he and his colleagues dealt with during his time in the sector of intelligence gathering and corporate security.
Educated at Bristol University, Stuart Poole-Robb went onto join the RAF ("Royal Air Force") serving in Aden and Sharjah. He was subsequently transferred to the ("SIB") Special Investigation Branch.
After several years with the Rank Cinema Organisation in 1968, Stuart Poole-Robb's career led him to Alders International heading up their duty-free operations in the UK and overseas. Coral Leisure Group then recruited his services under the title of Special Projects Director before he founded the Merchant International Group ("MIG") in 1982.
In 2007 MIG was subject to a hostile corporate takeover by the Cerberus Holding Group. Following his dismissal from the company he founded and the collapse of MIG several months later, Stuart Poole-Robb now heads the KCS Group of companies, which boasts offices in the UK, Africa, Thailand and Hong Kong.
